I bought Unit by Regurgitator after seeing them live in Coogee Bay, bloody great album and I still listen to it now more than ten years later.

Bricks Are Heavy by L7 is an album that I bought after seeing them perform on The Word and it's another that I still enjoy.

I don't think that I've ever bought a crap album on a whim, but I've been given a couple of crappy ones as presents.
