Bride of Frankenstein (1935) for the umpteenth time.
What can you say about this movie? It's perfect.

Interestingly, both the 1931 Frankenstein and 1935 Bride of Frankenstein have been recently re-released to theaters in France.

And, after 80 years, these movies still have the power to draw crowds and critical adulation.

You can read some of the French critic's comments at the excellent Frankensteinia website.

I don't see this happening in the states. Leave it to the French to keep our great film history alive!
