You're exactly right about the triangular pattern, that's how it is done down here. 20-25 trees seems to be the average per rai, but that depends largely on the nature of the landscape.

The money is nice but it doesn't take too long to count it at the moment but I'll need an abacus in two years time as, by my calculations, I'll be getting around 20,000 kgs of palm every three weeks.
