Re: Southern Oil Palm and Rubber Plantations
stacks, I was advised the I would receive 500 baht per rai every three weeks so your 5,000 baht per rai per year isn't too far off when taking into consideration soil conditions, climate, species of the oil palm trees, regularity of fertilisation and the rate of pollination that will naturally differ from plantation to plantation.
My trees are still fairly mixed in terms of development as well, some of the slower trees are now showing signs of being able to produce palm but some are still doing nothing at all. The Wife just bought a kind of hormone solution so we will apply that to those trees and see what happens.
Thanks for checking in Stacks, glad to hear that your plantations are also going well. Do you have any photos? I'd love to see what your plantations look like.
