Live and learn eh. You aren't the first, and you certainly won't be the last to put an asset into a GF's name then loose it when ye fall out of love/ someone falls in love with someone else.
Why oh why put things in a GF's name. I've never been able to fathom it - nobody shall ever know what the future may hold.
