Everything but to be fair, in the main I think that 'British Gangster Flicks' are fucking arse. You probably liked The Business. Actually as opposed to my rehashing it I'll just quote my post on the subject from the 'Which Movies Will You Avoid Like The Plague?' thread:

Horrible film about horrible people and utterly lacking in any humanity. It's possibly as bad as The Business.......mmmmmmmmmmm...maybe not quite as bad...................................actually maybe it was worse. I don't know, it was shit either way. They're both shit. It's like someone gave someone a film budget and said 'make a gritty gangster film for a Sun reading white van man and make sure there's loads of gratuitous violence'.

The Business? The story, acting, scripting - all awful. Cockney rhyming slang, Spandau Ballet songs and people calling each other 'mugs' for an hour and a half before the cheeky anti-hero makes his getaway in the obligatory Mark Rentonesque manner does not a good film make. The Business substitutes a script for lairy cockney slanging matches, gurning and people fronting up to each other and calling each other tobys and suchlike. It's one dimensional, it's boring, it's gash.

The thing is about the UK though, it's not like it's really ever had that much of a gangster history. All we've had is the odd bunch of moronic wideboys that invariably get shat on by foreigners who come in that are willing to use any means necessary. Most of our 'gangsters' are just ex bank robbers living it up in Pattaya nowadays while the turks, the albanians and the russians run the british underworld. There's really no wonder the majority of british gangster flicks are so gash when they have fuck all real life shit to draw on.

Snatch though not in the same league of shiteness is really, really fucking overrated by so many people.
