The Lost Executioner by Nic Dunlap. It's not about Thailand but tells the author's story about finding the man who ran Tol Sang prison (SG-21) in Phenom Phen durring the days of the Khemer Rouge.

Finding George Orwell in Burma by Emma Larkin. What a great read if you're interested in either Burma or the man.
