If you were interested in Restless Souls, there's another great book (well better than Souls) called the The Lost Executioner by Nic Dunlap. It's not about Thailand but tells the author's story about finding the man who ran Tol Sang prison (SG-21) in Phenom Phen durring the days of the Khemer Rouge.

Also of SE Asia interest is Finding George Orwell in Burma by Emma Larkin. What a great read if you're interested in either Burma or the man.
