I like all the books about Thailand. They all give their own angles from the naive drug smuggler, to the bar girl books. Tales from Phuket ws quite good as well. I still think there are no hard luck stories here.
i go for nthe informally written books that are easy to read rather than someone who uses the old flowery language yet by chapter 4 has ended up with his pants down beiong arrested for the usual naive mistake.
