That was more the On the Tiles column though, marmers.
The Farang Affairs column had much better stuff, the last one ripped ten shades of sh.ite out of the Bangkok Post's garbage new Guru supplement, for example, as well as asking the usual questions about where tsunami aid was going and why so many falangs keep bungee jumping out from Pattaya condos without their proper bungee rigs.
The Nation is now majority owned by the family of the ex-Transport minister, Suriya, he of the scanner debacle. They hadn't supposedly exerted any influence on the paper, up until now perhaps. Maybe the last pisstake on Thaksin was just one too many? Satan knows the squalid little junta-face deserves it, though.
