Absolutely. It boggles the mind when you see M1 kids with phones and they all insist that their parents need to be able to call them in class. But the look of surprise and dismay when the thing is confiscated, switched off, and put in the teacher's desk makes it all worth while.

My 1% exceptions are basically people I know wouldn't call me except in an emergency; the two times I've stepped out to return a call both involved people in hospital. Even my boss can wait till I'm done, since he knows what I'm doing and why.
