Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?

The Myth with Jackie Chan, hired by my brother in law. Overall, we were disappointed. Jackie is just Jackie of course. There's a drop dead gorgeous Chinese princessw heroine, a voluptrous Indian, and literally hundreds of males for Jackiie to hit, kick, stab and slash. The story (you wouldn't call it a plot) appears to involve timne travel, eternal life, undying love and weird notions of honour. There's a cool weightless fighting sequence near the end. Otherwise, its not very good.

Corner Gas - a half hour situation comedy set in some godforsaken town on the plains. The brother in law has become obsessed with this series and downloaded lots of episodes. Basically, its superlaid back humour, so it should appeal particularly to Aussies. All the character are dorks or eccentrics, so thats fun. The beautiful heroine doesn't think she's good enough for the hero, who is the ugliest, dumbest bloke you could imagine, so that gives you an idea. I've never seen this on TV, but if you do, watch it, slowly.
