Not sure about the gay bias though as so many gay Thais. Or do they just ignore it due to "consideration" but secretly hate them? I never got the feeling in my classes that was true.

I was told by a gay acquaintance of mine that most Thai families regard a gay member of the family as a terrible and demeaning thing. They just dont talk about it much. Easier to ignore.

The original poster is right though, Thais are racist. We all are. It is just that in civilised countries, there are anti-discrimination laws that make differentiation in treatment illegal. Not here.
