Re: Stopped smoking .... so easy !?
Yes, I still smoked during the first two weeks I took the medicine. But even after just 5 or 6 days I noticed that I just didn't want to smoke that much anymore.
It was like....I woke up at 7 am, started work and all of a sudden it turned out to be noon and I thought " Shit, it's noon I have to smoke!" :-) Not because I wanted to, but because I realised I hadn't smoked a single cigarette since I woke up. Sure that must have been a mistake? :-)
They say when you stop smoking you save a lot of money .... well for me it's the other way round at the moment. Cigarettes in Thailand are so cheap, it only cost me a 1000 B a month. The medicine (Quomem) costs me 1.800 B per month and because I don't want to gain weight and also because it helps you to prevent some of the physical withdrawal effects, I started to eat a lot healthier and drinking a lot of fruit and vegetable juice.
Apparently, some fruits or fruit juices help you by keeping up your sugar level ??? I'm not sure exactly what they do, check the web site if you want to know, but cranberry juice would be very good and it works for me.
About the side effects .... no, none so far. The only things I noticed is a dry mouth now and then and...eh ... well, when making love it takes me longer to c*m, wich I wouldn't call unpleasant and wich is something that maybe isn't caused by the medicine at all ... although I can not find anything else that could have caused this.
Again, hopes this helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Erwin
