House boat for rent, cheap rent!

Moored just outside Bangkok between Lat Krabang and Chachongsao on a branch just off the Khlong San Saeb where at this point in the canal the water is still clear-ish and odourless, the nearest civilisation is a group of shopnouses and market on the road that leads to King Mongkut's University of Technology by the railway near Suwwanapum, not that far from the airport.(But not that close either)

It must be noted that the boat can't be driven and nor do the owners want it to be. They just want to rent it as a "unique abode" so to speak, rather than just let the whole contrap-sorry-barge style vessel fall into disrepair.

The boat has two cabins for sleeping, a kitchen area that requires gas bottles, an open plan living area and a shower room with decent toilet and sink. It has to be said that the bathroom has been modified using proper appliances normally suited to a condo.

All pots, pans, woks, plates, crockerry etc is included, as are duvets, sheets, pillows, a two seater sofa, and fridge and small TV. Sadly, no DVD though a laptop would come in useful. (not provided).

Ideal for a teacher working in Chachongsao or nearer, this boat (I'd rather say barge) is going at 8,500 Baht per month with electricity and water at govt rates.

2 months deposit = 17,000 Baht

The boat is in excellent condition but alas, is not insured against the odd tsunami or perfect storm.

Pm me and I'll put you in touch with the elderly owners.
