I think this is the third name for this place after Delaneys & Shenanigans. Once again, it's another generic Oirish pub, but this one has a difference; a lethal iron, spiral staircase that will take half your head off if you're not looking where you're going after one too many. The menu is OK, but you have to select your vegetables separately, and this adds to the price (as does the VAT and service charge). The breakfast for 300฿ (plus VAT & whatever else they feel like) is bloody good though. It gets pretty busy in here, so the place does get quite lively. Much better than O'Reilly's over the other side of Silom, I reckon.

Guinness, Kilkenny & Old Speckled Hen.

Extra charges, pricey food.
It's changed name again now to Molly Malones (also of Pattaya and Phuket)

They've gotten rid of the iron staircase too. Got Flip bands on the weekends and a great Sunday roast buffet for 350baht.

They have also...wisely...reduced the price of jugs on the weekend to 150baht (heineken, tiger and singha) from the previous rip-off price of 220baht.

Sukhumvit Soi 4 is home to the only genuine Irish pub in Bangers. It's owned by Gerry from Dundalk and it's a great little pub with decent Guinness and friendly staff.
They have specials every day....Guinness 140baht, Jameson buy 1 get one 1 free all day Sunday.
It's also the only "Irish" pub that shows the GAA matches!

Another newcomer to the plastic Paddy scene is Hanrahans on Sukhumvit Soi 4: Welcome to Hanrahans Website

It's about as Irish as Cromwell's crack and is another huge wooden monstrosity devoted to the glorification of Darby O'Gill as actual history.

Food is expensive (Pad Thai is 180baht) as is the beer but most of the tourists who fall in here don't care. It's owned by the same folk as Robin Hood and O'Reilly's.
