Just read this article from MCOT about piracy in Thailand. Apparently Thailand is cooperating more with the U.S. now because it doesn't want the country to be downgraded to a more "watchlisted" country when it comes to stolen intellectual property. More of a downgrade on this list means possible more sanctions by the U.S. government against Thailand. I would assume that this doesn't mean only the Net, but the standard copies seen all over the streets and markets in Thailand these days.
