Are you working at a government English Program school? I do. I've got the same form and same as you I have to hand it in today.
The story what our manager at the beginning of this week reported was:
On the 31st January and 1st February there was a seminar for English Program adminstratiors and the MOE or OBEC. At that seminar several topics were discussed. Such as:
- EP's will be more important in the future
- 4 knowledge centres nationwide will be established
- aim of the kc's are data-management, benchmarking, research and development
- every knowledge centre will get a budget of 2,500,000 THB per year.
As a start all foreign teachers at EP's should be registered. That's where mentioned form comes in.
According to our manager it has noting to do with teacher licenses. What she did mention was that a teachers black-list database will be built. Upon asking what that is she told, knowledge about job-hopping, bad performing teachers will be shared among the 4 kc's.
Hoped this helped.
