They then searched my hand luggage, cut up my bar of soap, emptied my China tea all over the desk, etc, but didn't find anything and let me go without searching my rucksack. Bizarre  |
Had a similar experience on the coach back from the 'Dam on the French border. They searched my bag - found nothing - and then for good measure decided to slice it open with a stanley knife. They then slung it at me and told me to get back on the coach.
Yet another example of the fine relationship which exists between ourselves and the French.
