Re: Air Asia Rant
I really like Air Asia. It's always a relatively short flight, so I like to save the 500-1000 thb over the competition. The hostesses are cutees; make no mistake. They are as on-time as any of the others. If bad weather hits--folks paying three times more will also be delayed.
One of the most popular airlines in the US (SWA) does not use boarding passes either. Having low limits on extra baggage keeps costs down for us more sensible people. Last time I needed a fishing pole; I rented one for 20 thb--of course, I could have purchased one at Tesco for 100 thb. Last time I flew TG, the box lunch kind of sucked.
