One of the most popular airlines in the US (SWA) does not use boarding passes either. Having low limits on extra baggage keeps costs down for us more sensible people. Last time I needed a fishing pole; I rented one for 20 thb--of course, I could have purchased one at Tesco for 100 thb. Last time I flew TG, the box lunch kind of sucked.

I need extra posts to be able to post pics........ so I will respond to this one...
- We paid 5750 Baht per person to fly from BKK to PHUKET, that ain't cheap.
- I can careless about the "beauty" of the hostess; I pay for competences and services.
- I like my flight to leave on time, not the sooner, not the later.
- Low limits on extra baggage have nothing to do with keeping cost down........ Trust me I am an expert in Logistics, they do it to save cubic/weight for cargo... travelers are just an excuse for advertisements... airline's money making is on cargo, under your feet...
