Countires in yellow are prepared to recognize Kosovo's independence.

The map is also interesting in that it seems to give a pretty fair idea of the political alliances ar work, above and below board in the world today.

My thoughts on this is that a very serious precedant is being set here and that recognition could well be the start of a new "cold" (or even hot) war. Not sure where America wants to go in terms of missile bases in Eastern european countries and with recognizing the indepence of a province that has long been a part of the Serbian Union.

Bit humourless for a Monday morning post I know. But what the hell
