North Sea peaked - UK squandered it. What was the UK doing in Iraq then?
Just pointing out that Russia does matter.

As far as a peak oil topic goes, the UK's Collin Campbell is a great resource regarding how screwed the UK's energy future is. He was a former geologist for Shell and Total.
