I didn't mean to get all uppity re Russia. I did spend some time there and in Ukraine/Crimea. A lot of backward things there & major problems, but Russia has a lot going for it resourse wise and I'll throw a few comments their way now and again. It's not a country to be discounted.

I'm throwing this off topic but there are no suitable alternatives to fossil fuels. Solar, Wind, Nuclear, Bio-Fuels are all great but are a drop in the bucket. We're heading for a world peak in oil production and Washington/London/Moscow/etc. knows it. I just think it's interesting to see what gets countries stirred up these days so they get a chance to exert some "influence".
