Yeah, on the one hand, BTS gave me a funky cloth "we're saving the planet, hoorah" bag the other day, when I spent a certain amount of bahtage.
On the other hand they tried to put my very slim copy of Time Asia Magazine in a placcy bag and gave me that "you're a nutter mate" look when I said "Mai ao Toong na khrap"!  |
I don't think that these staff are educated by their companies about cutting down the use of plastic bags yet. Almost every store now provides an option to buy "bag for life" and I paid for that. On one occasion, the Big C staff tried to charge me extra for the bag that I bought weeks ago. I don't think my bag look that new.
