domestically maybe - but Air Asia are still usualy cheaper than Thai domestically too - if you book suitably far enough in advance.
Now try comparing a TG and a FD or AK flight betwen BKK and KUL or SIN!

Charter flight?? - research the airline your booking a ticket on in future. Air Asia are not the only low cost carrier on earth who do not have reserved seating - its not a new concept.
DAD? im 26 years old - and you havent hurt my feelings one bit - your the one who is upset because of your uninformed decision making and the hour long flight you had to spend away from your friend.
