Why should she? I specialise in cooking the Western food. And personally, I prefer garlic with my lamb. Which should, of course, be a nice pink in the middle with just a soupcon of redness in the juices.
But then again I live in Thailand and so eat mainly Thai food. I don't feel the need to carry on eating Western food in an Eastern country. Or are you one of those who thinks that all Thai food is muck and carries on eating like they did back home?
