I'm a sucker for the Thai blokes who come around restaurants with the old "I'm deaf and dumb" placard selling shit. I always want to stamp on their foot to test them to see if they shout the Thai equivalent of "You cunt!"
The thing is there's one "deaf" geezer coming round selling the latest Thai pop Mp3s for 40 baht which I buy for my daughter. They're 100 baht in the malls. Bargain. If that's ripping me off then tuck me up some more. He always hands me the placard but its a case of (if he could hear) "Put that away Somchai. No need for the hard sell. You've got me."
