Strange, I had that salad a few weeks back and no offensive corn to be found.
I would have sent that straight back. Detestable. The place I've been eating most
often on Thong Lor is a one minute walk from Scooz - the Japanese spot next to
Grand Tower Inn's driveway soi. Great curries there, and huge bowls of delicious noodles.
There is also a particular table that gets incredible A/C action so it's perfect getting
out of the heat on those burn up days.
Anyway, I just find it odd that a place like Scoozi could go balls up (so to speak
)
so quickly. As the kitchen is open to the dining space, next time I go I'll be watching
them with the hawk eye.
