Re: Had Yai in Thailand

Hat Yai's great. Has been my home for more than two years. It's gotten considerably quieter with the restlessness in the other three southern provinces and the occasional incident in Hat Yai, but all in all, I like it.

Just enough of the western things I might want from time to time...like a Sizzler, but close enough to the beach to be nice (Songkhla) without the fat, beer swilling oil workers that Songkhla has.

I plan on spending several years there...maybe the rest of my life.
