Re: Movies - what you seen and was it any good?
I watched the 'Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford'.
Beautifully shot (the movie, and Jesse come to think of it!), great soundtrack, and a good story. I really liked it, despite being quite long (2h40m). Good perormances put in by Brad Pitt and others.
From IMDB review - "Casey Affleck, arguably the better actor of the Affleck clan gives the most pathetic, annoying and cowardly performance in the last ten years" and this is true, you really want to smack him one.
9/10
Michael Clayton - OK corporate mystery, but a bit far-fetched.
7.5/10
Charlie Wilson's War - Interesting story and Philip Seymour Hoffman steals the show. Some of the characters seemed a bit over the top (eg. Julia Roberts - but maybe thats what rich southern women were like in the 80s), but definitely worth a look.
7.5/10
American Gangster - fairly standard gangster movie - cop battles corruption and criminals to uphold justice etc etc. Nevertheless entertaining.
7.5/10
