Flawless - Demi Moore and Michael Caine

Moore, a frustrated executive at the world's largest diamond company, and Caine, a cleaner with a grievance, decide to steal the firm's diamonds during the nightly lockup. However, Moore doesn't know about Caine's grievance, so is surprised when he steals more than she had expected.
Moore does her spinster imitation and Caine is a rascal. Plot has a neat twist at the end. OK but not great.

Silk
A French soldier marries and starts a new job as a silk seed smuggler from Japan to France, which makes his town and him wildly rich. However, he becomes obsessed with the beautiful concubine of his Japanese warlord contact, which causes him problems both in Japan and back home.
Very slow, sensitive, soft-focus movie. The love scenes are both revealing and tasteful. In the end, you want to grab the bloke by the collar and thump him for being an idiot. If you hated Die Hard, you might like this.
