O.K serious blog now.
One of my hobbies is keeping fish.
Up to now:
I have a 10gal tank with 2 blood red parrot fish.
I have four 1.5Gal tanks with Siamese fighting fish in. They are of the Splendina breed but are large bodied.
All my tanks have light and natural plans so the fish are happy.
This week i decided to go for it big time and ordered a monster tank. 60inx30inx26intall, this tank will be 204gal or 775ltr. Hood with lights, metal stand.
This tank needs a tank underneath it to act as a filter (overflow, return pump or what’s known as either a sump or wet and dry filter.) The filter tank is 60Gal or 220Ltr
It is being delivered on the 19th July. I plan to plumb the filter in myself but the main tank has already had out/in holes drilled in it.
the tank is going to house one of these.

A red tailed golden Asian Arowana.
The 2 red parrots will be going in the big tank with the Arowana.
The 10Gal tank will be used for feeders.
This isn’t a picture of my fish and it’s only young (about 12 to 15in long.) when they get older they turn golden.
When I get my tank I’ll post a running blog.
Any questions now are welcome or anyone else interested in fish ,tell me.
