This is it. In 72 hours, I'll be ordering my last pint of good old British ale, getting set to fly in the morning. 2 days of work left and 2 weeks today I begin my journey. Bought an external hard drive yesterday, 320GB, spent today filling it (well, 30GB of stuff) with all the relevent teaching materials I could find. I've got schemes of work and all resources for Science 11-18, Maths 11-16 and French 11-16 (I thought I could adapt them for English, perhaps possible with some things). I'm a genius! Now I just need to get all the stuff off my sister who teaches languages.

Its Saturday morning, 8am. I should not be awake. The doorbell went, I was like a dog, jumping around, finding jeans, it was the postman and he always plays knock and run with my post. Motivation for my current job has gone through the floor! My year 11s all passed their course, most with a merit award, my year 10s have had their last GCSE exam and have gone on work experience, my year 12s have completed their exams and have now virtually finished all their coursework for next year, my year 9s have had their SATS exams and completed the first unit of their BTEC coursework, there really is nothing left for me to work towards.

I've now sold everything bar a few CDs....

Emotions are pretty low at the moment. I don't feel that its worthwhile getting into any new, exciting projects so am just working, drinking, sleeping. Been invited on some old friend's birthday mess up to London next weekend, it'll break my current budget, but I need something to break up the boredom. Organised leaving do at work, piss up on the tram (you get off at every stop and have a pint), I'm suprised how many people want to come. Makes me feel popular.
