We remain happy in Bangkok. The girls have settled brilliantly in school and have many friends - my youngest (now 2) being able to speak more Thai than all of us due to her age in coming here...she can hold a conversation!! Met some lovely people through my job and no regrets in the world in moving to Thailand. My girls have a lifestyle that I could never achieve on a basic teacher wage in the UK. Really, next to the packing, baby's first birthday and the wedding the move was a breeze...OKAY! It was more a "cold wind" while we lived in a small hotel room and were all "sick as dogs" but NEXT to the stress BEFORE leaving the UK a "somewhat gusty walk in the park"!! SINCE leaving the hotel things have been okay...was fully expecting to be badly homesick by now (am not!) Was fully expecting the girls at least to be badly homesick by now (nope!) ...
I am writing this blog because whatever Thailand throws me it surely doesn't get more stressful than this!!!...Read it back later Ss - read it back every darn time you feel stressed ever again!!! My girls (all 3 of them) are currently visiting relatives miles away - sorted getting them back for vaccs. and sorted getting them back to relatives. Sorted visas...So far so good... My house is in a state of "organized chaos" - I know "what pile is what" ...
