    The Troller's Tool Kit

So I've heard about the Internet router. Do I have this right?: It's connected inline between your phone cord and modem. Or does it have it's own modem? Does it contain a lil serverette that takes the place of your ISP? Once installed you can download without a trace, without cookies? Is it what they also refer to as a wireless? Excuse my e-ignorance.

A router is what you get when you have ADSL. You don't really need to have a modem, the router just pumps the net in through the LAN to as many computers as you wish to have connected.

If you have a wireless router then you have wireless!

Have you been raiding the (space) cookie jar? Only I am completely mystified what this means

The only way to do anything online without a trace is via a custom darknet. Someone can always find you if they are good enough.

Routers act a bit like a firewall - they don't hide your IP though and you can't switch off cookies on a router (no need, you can do it on the browser!)
Excuse me for not taking this seriously .....

Want to circumvent blocking software and hide your ISP address?

    Use a circumventor.

If you want anonymity then you should use Tor. It's very easy to install and set-up. I don't know much about darknet but from what I have read and understand Tor is the only real solution for privacy and anonymity.

    Thanks for that Tor tip.

I don't like the fact that companies like Google are storing data on each its users.

It's none of their business where any of us search. xxxx

    No, use tor if...

if you want anonoymity... use Tor, and run it through Privoxy... then your comp becomes 50 comps, with 50 diff isp's.. and you can cloak your sig so it appears your on windows xp sp2 with IE 7 or whatever, even if your not.

Tor will not stop GOOGLE... if you wanna stop google, stop using google.
