Sound problems when surfing the Net

    Hi,

I got my laptop fixed about a month ago after problems with recurring BSOD (blue screen of death). They looked at it at a panthip computer shop and apparently changed my VGA. That cost me nearly 8000 baht.
I dont know if that was really the problem, but anyway, my laptop runs smoother now. The BSOD problem is as good as gone. I am no longer loosing data due to sudden crashes.

Now, when I listen to music and surf the Internet at the same time, the music cracks or clicks every time the computer loads a new page, I click a link or something like that. It wasn't like that before.

    Why is this happening?
How can I solve that problem?
I checked my running processes, and it doesn't seem that there are any resource intensive applications running that shouldn't be there.

    Any advice?

    Cheers.

Wonder if they screwed up your soundcard when they were in there rummaging about?

Or is the sound built in to the motherboard on laptops? I've never had a laptop, so I don't know....

Thanks jd and eso for the tips,

I just updated all my drivers, got them from the company website. After that was done, the lappie stopped booting. It simply looped between shutting down and BSOD. I had to restart in safe mode and reconstruct my OS to an earlier date.
That sucks, cuz then I reckon there must be some serious driver compatibility issue, and that must also be why I got it back with bad sound.

As for the soundcard, I really dont know, but Ill try and check if they changed my soundcard at the store also.

    Any one had similar experience?
