^ Did you copy the image straight on to a disk or extract it using WinRar first and then copy all the extracted files on to a disk, Jon?

I tested it 2 different ways.

First I copied it to disk(no winrar as it wasn't compressed)using Nero express.

I also left the file just as it was and used a program called Daemon tools, which is a virtual drive which fools the computer to think it's looking at the cd drive.Using a 'no cd' crack this works just fine.Only problem now is I can't find an online key....so I can only play the game by myself.Still looking though. The original game is quite expensive I believe.

Added after 2 minutes:

P.s. I have the full game not just the demo.I downloaded it using Bit torrent.1.5 gig the size was.I had it in 4 days.

^ They've really clamped down on using the same serial to play online.

The original Doom 3 is about £35 here.

Nah. Just PM me your address when it comes out. Starangely enough, pirated copies are available well before the originals come out over here.

Cheers again, Tel. I'll PM you my address when the game comes out. The previews of it look really good. You played the new Warhammer 40000 or Rome: Total War yet?

Right so burn each of the CD image files to a blank disk, and extract and install from the disk.

Jonah, did you find the Doom 3 walkthrough on Gamespot?

I'll take a look at them today as I'm off to Pantip to get Madden 2005.

Rome: Total War is tougher than Warcraft, etc.

Half Life 2 update from Gamespot.com...

Quote:
Half-Life 2 gunning for November 16 release date

After months of speculation, Vivendi announces that Half-Life 2 has gone gold and will be on shelves in less than one month.

Days after last week's Rumor Control brought news that Half-Life 2 had gone gold and was being sent off to Vivendi Universal for approval and manufacturing, the publisher confirmed that the game has gone gold and announced, finally, its release date: November 16.
