Why don't you just store them as .flv on your hard drive and watch them on the PC with an appropriate player.
My experience with youtube flash video is that the initial quality is so poor that by the time you convert to vcd format (.mpg) they are barely watchable.
Excuse me for not taking this seriously .....

If you have the .flv files downloaded then get AVC (any video converter) it is a freebee.
Free Video Converter| Any Video Converter Freeware| MP4 FLV 3GP AVI MKV DVD Android Html5
It will convert the flvs to whatever flavor of video output you want (avi, mpg, wmv, etc.)
Burn to a disc.
Alternatively, get something like Flash Video Downloader » Downloads flash video from Google, Metacafe, Daylimotion and other video sharing websites and just save the files as mp4s rather than as flvs and save them on your USB drive. Most dvd/vcd players now will have a usb slot and will play mp4s..
.
I hope people have upgraded to dvd by now.
