I've been having problems with Hotmail this morning (Sunday) and wondered if anyone else was having similar problems.
I keep getting server errors and, even when I can get into my inbox it seems to take forever to go anywhere.
I've been trying for the last hour or so to try to send a new email but it just won't go beyond the 'new' tag.
I just logged in and had no problems at all....must be your comp

looks like Russell gets all of my junk mail as well as his own....i don't usually use hotmail so it seems rather dead
Hotmail never works well for me anyway, so... I can't say I've noticed a difference.
I'm not having any problems with any other links. I also have a gmail account and got straight in first time.
I've just gone back to try again and still getting server error and timeout messages.
I finally managed to get into the compose page. Clicked on 'send' and it's just hanging there.
Bloody nuisance.

I think this happened because, out of spite, I replied to one of these just to fuck them over. I've been deluged since that time. These folks have a long memory. Don't fuck with Nigerian scammers.
Had the same problem as Welshman at 09-00:hrs today switched to my Firefox, browser in at the speed of light no problems.
Fluff must have been cleared out of the workings I suppose!!!! .

I tried it with IE. Problems but eventually managed to fire off an email, though slow as hell and still getting error messages.

Try it in a different browser, i.e. Opera or Firefox.
If that fails, it might be your ISP. Something like that.
MSN has recently relaunched Hotmail too, but I haven't experienced any probs myself.

I normally use Opera but tried it with IE and still got the same problems.
I remember a while back when I was still in the UK that Hotmail was out for around two or three days. I mentioned it to some of the techies at the college and they said that, as Hotmail was one of the most widely used email services, it came under regular hack attacks and that that could be the cause.
You're gonna have to get yourself to an Internet cafe then!
Get a Thai colleague or buddy to contact your ISP for you too.
ISP: Hello this is your isp.
Welshman: Yes i am having a problem with my Hotmail.
ISP: You mean Ladyboy.
Welshman: No, not that kind of male. Hotmail from MSN.
ISP: What Problem.
Welshman: Hotmail doesn't work.
ISP: We send out engineer.
One Week Later.
ISP: Hello
Welshman: Where is the Engineer you said was coming.
ISP: He come Tomorrow.
Weshman repeat again for the next 3 days, then the Hotmail will have fixed itself.
My next door neighbours have challenged me to a water fight , so I am just writing this while I am waiting for the kettle to boil .
