Wow that is expensive. In the US they're selling for about 12,000 baht. Not that I would buy one --- all the games SUCK.

Green is either going to some stupidly fucking expensive places or is mental.....I got mine (new) with one game for 23K last year....now expect to pay around 15K or so (bear in mind there are a few different models).

Games go from 1,800 Baht upwards (most I paid was 2,600 Baht I think).

ah well that was the prices when I bought it i guess which must have been 12 months ago now. games are typically 2500 baht though

If I do get one it will be about a year from now when their signature games come out (Final Fantasy 13, Resident Evil 5, Metal Gear Solid 4). But even then I will pick one up when I'm in the US. By then the price will probably have dropped to around $300.

May want to use 'were' instead of 'are' then (as I said I only paid 23K (with one free game so call it 20K odd) a year ago...the most expensive I saw then was around 30K in Central). Mine is also a 60 gig (or is it 80 gig?) fully BC Jap one!

^Right, 15k isn't so bad. It's region free so no mod chip is necessary, right? Might look into it once a few good games are out.

Yeah kind of region free (the machines are anyway but game makers can make the games region specific if they want to, but don't yet...also downloading a game from the US PSN store and then an add on from the Brit store can often mean the add on doesn't work...not always though) for PS3 games (not PS2 games or Blu rays though). Also it's NOT chippable yet....so no copies, must buy originals....with the firmware and HDMI protection you may find it's unhackable...but I doubt it.....best place to check on this (thanks Mr. S) is:

I've got a Jap machine and it actually cuts out the blood when you play Uncharted on it, even if the Uncharted game is not a Jap version...weird huh? Used schoolgirl panties okay....but no blood!!!

I've got all three now...I'd probably (purely 'cos the games are like a 100 Baht as opposed to 2K plus) go for the X Box 360 over the other two (although I do like my PS3 more 'cos it's soo damn sexy!).

What do you mean all the games suck??? Have you played Oblivion? I bought this game twice (on 360 and PS3), the game is that good.... and I am a huge Resident Evil fan myself.
