DSL on a TOT Line

Is True the only DSL service provider I can use on a TOT land line?

Or are there others?

And if so, how's your experience been with them (i.e., cost, speed, reliability).

I don't know about that, AO. I posted on here previously as to my confusion as to just who I'm paying for what.

I have my internet DSL with True, but I get bills from TOT and something called CAT.

The last time I asked about this on the forum I was advised that TOT provide the line and that True provide the internet connection.

In fact, I have a bill in front of me now from TOT for 107 baht.

i have some sort of 2 meg package called goldcyber with tot.

it works absolutely fine.

good to hear you can. CAT is Communications Authority of Thailand. They control the gateway to the net.

You can't use True on a TOT line where we are - unless it isn't a TOT line that we already had(?), as we had to get a True line installed.

i've been using 1Mb by TT&T 590 per month but 631 is actual pay. there's new promotion upgrading from 1 to 2 Mb with the same price beginning this month. pls check Maxnet :: äÎÊ»Õ´ÍÔ¹à·ÍÃìà¹çµ for more information or call 1103.

I took up their offer last Friday. I paid and was told they could set it up in half an hour, (632B/m for me!). This morning, 5 days later, the connection came on, after many arguments with their office. It performs well so far but early days.

Yeah, but you're using TRUE ISP. Doesn't matter what phone line you're using. TOT can't block access on their phone lines but they sure as hell block access to their ISP subscribers.
