im new to BKK and wonder if anyone in this internet wilderness is up for playing organized online games (yes, u can be social and a gamer) and / or knows of a good community site dedicated to Thailand or Asia?

currently, i dabble in:
-civilizations
-quake wars
-call of duty 4
-company of heroes

hey, I do like playing some online games, and you're right, it can be social! Let me know if you get anything organised or find anyone else wanting to play some online games.

I'm finding my internet connection too slow (adverstised as 2mb) from True (Truely slowspeed) to play FPS games against people in other countries (mostly usa). And, it seems there arent many servers in Thailand for games like CoD4 and Quake Wars.

Do i need to start my own league and server based in Thailand in order to get a decent game in?
