Re: Which browser do you use?
Opera has inbuilt download manager that lets you pause and restart your downloads and everything else. It had it for ages.
How's the current Firefox download works? What happens if you close the program - do you still lose everything?
What annoys me about FF is that it won't start without updating its addons, and then it would ask me to restart over and over again. I use it mostly to check for browser compatibility and page debugging and I need a quick look at the page, not a fucking ritual of downloading and installing five addons in a row.
Overall Opera is faster, especially flipping between visited pages in history.
Killer feature for me is custom javascripts for Opera - you just put them in a designated folder and they work. With Firefox you need a Greasemonkey add on and it has a steep learning curve with lots of windows to click through.
There's also "Block Content" feature that hides all unwanted images and banners in two clicks. It's also easy to block all requests to google advertising pages or various page counters like truehits.
My scripts and filters remove ALL advertising from places like this forum - I kill them all, no images of weird tefl schools, no flashy ECC banners, not even ajarn logo left.
