I am going to buy a nice pair of headphones before I move out.
Any recommendations?

I brought Sennheiser PX 200s. They are lightweight, portable and the sound quality is amazing. They are headphones rather then earphones so they are not very discrete. I think that I look cool wearing them anyway so that is not an issue. Sennheiser all the way!

Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence?

^ I bought some Sennheiser headphones before I came over. $100, but five years later they're still going strong. They're huge, but comfortable and a great sound. Strangely enough, I then bought a tiny pair on Kao Sarn for about 200 baht - the difference in sound was negligible.![]()
Yep, you can't go wrong with Sennheiser, they aint cheap but are ace.
