Thread: Anyone know how to block comments on facebook pics???

There is no way to stop comments appearing on your photos, unless you opt to share your photos with you and only you (not with your friends).

Actually, I think there is. I might've seen it when setting the privacy setting two days ago... lemme check again and I'll tell ya (with screen shots). They just recently added these additional controls.

OK... just looked. It's for their fucking stupid "TAGS" -- not POSTS. Thank you, you worthless fucking fucks at Facebook. I cannot fathom how they TOTALLY missed something as obvious and concerning as this. Or perhaps there IS a way to turn off posts -- just that these fucks haven't made it obvious.

I know for a fact, however -- that people who are NOT your friends CANNOT post comments. So, say your gallery is public -- only people that are in your friends group can comment on the photos. The only option I can see is for you to make the Gallery public and NOT add anyone to your friends group -- but that defeats the purpose of them subscribing to updates from you eh?

Sometimes I think Facebook is like Apple -- they can do the right shit and they are AWARE of the shit, but they refuse to -- instead saving it for a "later feature". I mean like, where are you going to go if not Facebook? Assholes.

You can't do it. Use something better - why complain? Just send an email to post@posterous.com and see what happens. Any email... the content of the mail will be your first post, so try a set of 5 pictures and see how it looks.
