Anyone know if the new Series 9 laptop (NP900X3B) is available in Thailand?
If so, where's the best place to find one, around how much and is it possible to get one with 256gb ssd?
Many thanks for any info.
Was just in central in KK yesterday and am looking at one of the brochures I picked up...it has the Series 9 with a 128gb ssd for 46,900bht...
In the brochure it's listed as the np900x3a...

Is there a funny story behind your user name?
Where have you been for two years?
The worst job in Thailand must be the man who has to sit down with a blue marker pen and mark a number two on the two-baht coins to stop people thinking they are one-baht coins.
Thanks,
The x3a is the older version. Was on Samsung Thailands website and they only list the x3a as well. I'm guessing it's not available yet.
Funny story to name? Nope, not really. Was pressed for yet another login name and looked up from the computer to a shelf where there was a box titled "resource dvd's"....rest is history....i'm planning on starting a marketing campaign and retiring very soon![]()

Yep, true true, very true.
Thing is I don't buy or own much....live out of bags....so when i buy something i want it to be really sweet....small, powerful, strong and will last me at least 5 years.
Nonsense. That's the old 9 series. The crap duraluminum one.
He is asking about the 2012 Series 9, which is NP900X3B (13") and the NP900X4B (15").
---Update---
It's a crap notebook. Don't buy it. It has Sandy Bridge when all the new laptops and other laptops are being updated to Ivy Bridge.
The Lenovo X1 Carbon is a better buy. Ivy bridge and the whole 9. Spill resistant backlit keyboard and a 3G sim slot. 14" SCREEN 1600X900 RES.

The best PC's in this category of laptop are the Series 9 and Asus Zenbook. Both have Ivy upgrades that will be released shortly....
New Series 9 -- 900X3C
New Zenbook Prime -- UX31A
The new Prime will have serious upgrades in addition to the processor.
Lenovo X1 may be better value for money, but the 9 and Prime are at the top.
Lenovo is a shit Chinese company that had shit laptops so they bought IBM Thinkpad factories thinking it would increase their quality image...trouble is Thinkpads were shit as well...
This may have been true in the past but I've heard nothing but good things about Lenovo recently. To go along with what I've heard and read, the 2012 report from ctwatchdog named them the most reliable brand:
2012 Computer Reliability Report: Lenovo Most Reliable, Acer Least Reliable, Apple Declined | Connecticut Consumer Advocate Protector Watchdog | Ct Consumer Complaints |Ct consumer Protection | Ct Advocate | Ct Consumer
I was a bit surprised to see Asus drop on the list as I've had nothing but good experience from them and they were number 1 the year before.
