Ditto to what Robin Hood said. You live in Thailand and you are actually considering paying for movies and music?

I do have a question about itunes. When you buy a movie or music, does it give you access to it on all your devices? I assume so but just wanted to be sure. Another thing, when you purchase movies, do you get the movie in all available resolutions or is it just phone resolution? (ie - do you get to download the 720P or 1080P versions too?)

I am going to test that once I find a good movie to watch! Or maybe I'll start with music first. Stay tuned!

As for movie resolution -- I'm seeing there's an "HD" option. Hmm...

That's the thing. It's either time or money. With music I might spend half a day chasing up the 'latest' stuff. Convenience too -- the moment I hear a song I like and find out its name and artist, I can probably purchase it right away on the iTunes store (if it's available) -- right on the spot, right on my iPhone (or other iDevice or mac)... and I've had ~plenty~ of those cursed 'moments'.

Quality is another thing -- as I've said above -- a lot of that time is wasted testing the audio quality. Unfortunately can't go by just the bit rate rating : (

As for movies (and I hope they have TV series too) -- sometimes it comes out on iTunes first... months before the DVDs hit Thailand's shores or even before someone on the Pirate bay gets that blu-ray rip in. Which by the way... I'm STILL waiting for a DECENT copy of friggin' AVENGERS...!!

Lastly... support for the industry. Yeah, like the entertainment industry needs it? But seriously... there ~are~ some artists and labels worth supporting. Sure you can buy their albums... but why not be selective instead?

Wow... iTunes Match is also available! Turn all my pirated songs and ripped CD stuff into 'real' music for $25 a year... alright...

Alright... I have to admit... tried out Linkin' Park's new album and didn't think it was worth the 9 bucks. Piratebay got me it for free *sigh* old habits are hard to break...

... and then I used iTunes Match to get the iTunes versions.

    I'm an awful human being...

    ---Update---

Going back to that question on access -- if "automatic downloads" is enabled on your iDevice, it will automatically download it to the device.
