Teacher Pal is a good one to download
I got a few good ones for ya:
- Evernote
- Quick Office
- Drop Box
- iBooks (you can put all your textbooks here if you have an iPad)
- Kindle
- Translate
- Dictionary (from dictionary.com) It does pronunciation as well, so no more need to study phonics!
- There's another app you can use to actually mark the roll. Pretty sweet! Shame I forgot the name.
Here a some default Apple apps:
- Calendar (my whole class timetable is here, along with my pay day reminder :D
- Reminders
- Notes
Another two useful apps for classroom management are SeatCharter for recording who sits where, and Green Gradebook which you can sync with your Mac via Dropbox or iTunes. Teacher pal I hadn't heard of before, and might make SeatCharter redundant if it records locations too.
Update: i nearly forgot Siri which is getting better with every incarnation of iOS. Great for urgent search queries.
one stop english is quite handy. Lots of class ideas and games if you can't be bothered creating your own![]()
^ Which would be the bulk of this forum, I guess.![]()
