25 cent apps in the Google play store

For those interested, Google is celebrating their 25 billion app downloads by selling a selection of popular apps for only 25 cents. (A bit over 7 baht). There are new ones each day for five days but some of the popular ones listed are Angry Birds Space, OfficeSuite Pro 6, Draw Something, Asphalt 7, and Granny Smith. I played a bit of Granny Smith today and I've got to admit that it is much funner than I was expecting. For the price, its worth downloading the popular on the chance that you may take a liking to the game or app at some point.

No credit card. I'll just keep getting the paid ones for free at 4shared.com.

My Google play store stopped launching on my nexus 7.

Just like that..... overnight. I still have $10 credit left. Kinda annoying.

That was happening with my Galaxy Note a few weeks ago. I went to Settings/Appplications/All/Google Play Store ... and clicked "Uninstall updates"

Restarted Play Store, signed in ... working again.

I don't. Just copy/paste the app name into 4shared.com and get it for nicks.

Have to sign up though ... Free.

I think any kind of side-loading of iOS apps requires a jailbreak. Once you jb, just use installous.

In addition to Keekwai's suggestion, you can go into application settings and clear the cache as well as reset all the data. That usually fixes most issues.

Anyone else find it really annoying that with all the recent versions of Google maps, Thailand isn't one of the countries that allows offline mode for maps or the turn-by-turn voice navigation. This was doable on a previous version, then for whatever reason they took out the feature for a lot of countries and have been slowly introducing it.

I heard that iPhones explode in your hand if you do that.

I heard that iPhones radiate cancer and give you hepatitis if you hold it too close.
