Good to see that the turd suckers and the turd polishers at True are yet again blocking , 'Thebox' in Thailand.Usual comments fro True like last time. 'We are working to rectify the matter.'' What are you complaining about you're only a bill paying customer. We have to ensure our paymasters are comfortable not provide a decent service.
A pox upon the houses of the true management team.
'Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by mainstream media,
which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of shit by the clean end.'
I gave up on those buggers years ago. 1000 baht a month for the Super-Shyte Package (when it was UBC). I knew the scripts of most of the History Channel documentaries they were repeated that often.
There was a brief period where I got BBC Entertainment which was, in its own way, another little taste of TV Hell what with its almost continuous showing of My Family with him that was Wolfie Smith and that woman with three nostrils, Zoe Wannamaker.
Every so often - but not frequently enough - there'd be a gem like Saxondale or The Smoking Room.
Then they cancelled it. And I cancelled them.
Not a million miles from that, TC. That was the 'sit' of the 'com' - a smoking room. Doesn't sound very promising does it, but it was actually rather good. It introduced me to Robert Webb (he was the most neurotic character) as I hadn't seen Peep Show or That Mitchell and Webb Look back then.
thebox is working for me.
Thebox is now up and running for me and hopefully everyone else too, interesting to note the comments concerning True and is customer non service attitude posted in the forum in The box today.
Indeed Trues notoriety is spreading world wide.

Yes, same problem as before. It started some time last night.
As before, UL do work if reconnecting to a peer and UDP trackers work fine.
For me, affects theBox and theGeeks - don't know about other TB sites - and MVgroup.
Looks like we're waiting for SuperDave again...
Update:
WORKS AGAIN!
Was much quicker than last time. Do we know what the cause is?
There's a guy at True who is drunk most of the time, and argues with a bunch of white guys in the bar - then goes back to work and decides to shut down their soaps.
Mine's up too - I just noticed - but not quicker than last time. I only pay for 7MB, so I should never expect more than 5 (6 when it rains, because wet string is slightly higher in conductivity).
I was actually informed that because I live on the wrong side of the park, my internet would be slower than the people in buildings 1 to 6.
I'm sure there's no cure for this - but I love this thread, need somewhere to bitch and moan
This was posted in thebox forum this morning
I removed the posters name as I thought it was unwise to draw the poster into this forum, however for all we know the poster at the box might be a member here too.

Always avoided True like the plague, never heard anything but terrible reviews... just a waste of money. TV+Cable+Laptop = far supeior.
This is it... The apocalypse.
I also fucking HATE adverts. Totally ruins a show.
Can I go out on a limb here? Indulge me for one small moment, but this ain't gonna be popular...
I quite like True now, I used to have issues with UBC but True seems to have become more responsive. I am not sure why, but when I call them now they seem to want to help me. Ok, I know I have a big fucking star next to my name on their computer - a result of one too many meltdowns on the staff when they were UBC (I actually called one young (I presume) lady a 'fucking brain dead moron'), and I know said star next to my name gets me 'special' service (the staff are given training in how to handle 'problem' customers), but it really does seem that nowadays, when things go wrong, True are more responsive. They put messages of apology on the screen when something happens, they talk nicely to me on the phone, and they have sorted my issues out very nicely. I wanted to marry the nice lady that I last interacted with - and she was only guiding me through the (simple, don't really know why I bothered her really) process for making online payments. I really wanted to marry her.
Plus they brought back BBC Entertainment.
Ok, interlude over, back to what you were saying.
Oh, can I just add, I have absolutely no idea what thebox is, should I go looking for it? What will I find if I do?

^sorry, I was being slightly coy, it is now an extra pay option, so True are still being sneaky in their efforts to screw more baht from their monopoly.
I had the Platinum package but gave up after they ended the series about plane crashes and replaced it with "When Weather Changed History" which was the same programmes but re-hashed to make a new series supposedly about weather causing plane crashes.
A few weeks ago I stayed in a Phuket hotel with the true package and decided to tune in...only to see about ten minutes of a programme I was almost word perfect on despite not viewing True cable for well over a year.
I bet they're repeating the news too.
